Today was really a time to chill down.I hung out with me Indonesians friends. We went to watch Corpse Bride, supposed to be a day to reach out to my indo friends but none can make it except five of us, Tilly, Phillip, Benin, Handi and me. Handi is Yunita’s friend from Canada. He came here to look for an IT job. Well its fun cause this is my first time getting to know them.
At first felt out of place cause at one side Tilly is talking to her good buddy, Benin and the other side Phillip trying to build friendship with Handi as for me.. teehee me and my cheese fries, fellowshipping by ourself.. sigh sometime I really cant be bothered lar.. anyway dun want to try so hard to be friendly and end up being fake.. well I do enjoy the show though.
One thing good is the claymation, its witty and weird, yet I am amazed by all the animators, I know its tough job! I used to take animation in school and we gotta draw hundreds of pages just to complete a minute worth of animation, these… tsk tsk its take hours to complete modeling the characters from clay.. and shooting it frame by frame, with small movement to create a smooth animation.. woah standing ovations man!, But sometimes for us who dun really know we just comment it plainly.. its really hard works man!
But the movie is too short, the story too direct. Overall 3/5. So take your chances, like I say if you want to drool over the beautiful work it will be worth but it’s a very simple and direct story. Though the ending I shed a drop of tear..Oops I shall not say more.
Oh when I get home I watch another Korean VCD its called, Mr Arrogant 100%. It’s a very very funny and gross show. Haha must watch laugh yourself silly! It star one of my fav Korean actor Kim Jae Won.. I think if I am wrong the one looked like Bae Yong Jun. but cuter!
