CNY is coming to an end, and i have gain a few pound from all the late night snacks. Its time for me to hit the runway. So my plan today is to go to east coast with my collegue and we are going to jog.

She wants to complete the journey from Mc Donald to East Coast Hawker centre and back...eh..i think i can only run till Hawker Centre and eat my dinner there...

Regret for eating too much Bakwa!

So we met about 815 pm to go jog. The last saturday i went with Celine but i didnt manage to complete my goal of reaching the Hawker centre, i stopped right in front of Jumbo. Haha not sure its because i was too exhausted or is it because of the thoughts of crab.

Anyway this time i wanted to meet my goal, and surprisingly i was jogging in constant speed. All the way till the Hawker centre, wooh the feeling was great.I met my goal!

I have always love this sport, because its cheap and effective. It also helps me to really strip away all my burdens and tiredness from the whole day at work and helps me to destress. It also helps me to focus, plan and decide on my priorities in my life. I think a lot when i am jogging :)

The great thing is also spending the time with my new collegue. After the jog we went to makan at the Hawker Centre of course i wanted to eat the satay beehoon, the long queue stall, but it was just my luck, tuesday is their rest day. I am sure it was just my luck because on monday lunch time we were planning to eat prawn noodles at one of the popular stall near balestier and once every month they close on one of the monday, and indeed that day is the day.(so much of pure coincidence, but its funny!lol)

Anyway i was talking about my collegue, ah yes, so we manage to eat some other things and chat until about 1030pm, it was so late and we didnt even realise. I had a fruitful time knowing her and ...i found out something...i can actually take a bus home from that hawker centre 197 and 43...Haiz i used to walk all the way back to Mc Donald just to take a bus home.

My First Week as a teen worker.

Wow i never know that changes can be hard to adapt into. For those who dont know, i am actually moving ministry from the singles to be a teen worker in the teens ministry. (Here i am talking about ministries in the church not in the parliament kkk...)

The first week i was introduced to three little girls (all sec 3) which will be under my care. They are young, cute and sassy. Kinda remind me of the old days, when i was also in sec 4, no i was not cute and sassy, but just with the problems that they facing right now, exams and such.

The environment changes from the calm, collected adults to screaming youths. I was a little culture shock but then i used to be in their shoes before, but i am sure if i am as noisy as the teens nowadays.

So not only will i be a "jiejie", i will have some additional roles like; tuition teacher, advisor, aunt agony, dear diary, friend, listener, and maybe a shoulder to cry on.

Its not a bad way to go cause in the end i will be able to become a good older sister.

Till then...

Feel like singing this song:

I used to call you my girl
I used to call you my friend
I used to call you the love
The love that I never had

When I think of you
I don't know what to do
When will I see you again

I MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY
EVEN MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY
I MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY
EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY
GIRLI'M SO DOWN
WHEN YOUR LOVE'S NOT AROUND
I MISS YOU, MISS YOU, MISS YOU
I MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY

Bummer!

May the year of PIG be a year:
Where you eat less bakwa.
Stay pink in health drink more cheehwa.
Lotsa of laughter shared among friends
and more angpaos in hand.
Happy New Year.
