Hi all,
I am back from my long holiday! 2 weeks of missing in action.
Just in case for some who don’t know…I went back home to my hometown, Indonesia.
This time around it was quite a different way of getting home. Normally I will just book a Return ticket from Singapore Jakarta Singapore. But as you all know, I was planning to go BALI, but it never happen.
Then I get to know about Air Asia and I already booked a return ticket cause I thought I will be going to Bali so it will save a lot if I took budget airline and make a two stop thing mean
From Singapore to Batam by ship>to Jakarta by plane>to Bali by plane so that my holiday will be affordable. But anyway it never happen.
The only thing that remains were the already book ticket from Batam to Jakarta. Therefore I have no choice but to carry the journey alone.
Actually its super cheap! Normally I need to spend about $300 include tax, Singapore airport tax is very expensive, around $90+. But for this air ticket I only need to pay about $72 + $30 ticket to Batam.
It was scary traveling alone. Good thing we have a church in Batam, so I contacted a sister and she brought me around Batam. I had two hours to spare before the flight. She brought along some other Christians and we have good time fellowshipping.
It was my first time to Batam and it was my first time going on a sea transport (i mean on ship). So it was quite an adventure.
Anyway back home I spend most of the time at home. Heh! It was more like resting and spending time with my family. Of course my mum cooked all my favorite dishes. She always remembers and everyday I ate two or three of my favorite dishes. My siblings were not very happy though because almost 50% of my favorite food is theirs less preferred LOL!
And yup I gain a few KGs haha…
On the last week I made a trip to Jakarta to attend the church service. It was awesome! Apparantly they had a combine special service, in which about 2000 gathered. It was huge! I like the service, the songs they sang really lifted my Spirit. I think most Indonesian are charismatic about their worship. The prayer accompany with songs can really bring worship to greater level. Of course not only the feeling but even the message really challenge my stale heart.
After service I saw him but I didn’t see his gf. It was like a short awkwardness but I was so glad we get to talk. And I am happy to say that at least our friendship grew instead of apart. I am glad we are still friends!
In the Kingdom, life still goes on.
