Wah yesterday i share on midweek...so paiseh

Quite nervous though, i didnt know there's so many east until i went to the front and see it for myself. I rushed through the sharing hopefully they understood my sharing. Nervous lar...

Oh by the way it was also my first time doing song leading..haha so funny i never know i can actually sing..actually i really cant sing... its just that there's no one else doing so i try (lol). The aftermath was i lost my entire voice for two days after the trip (dunno how to control the voice so let it all out)

Anyhow, one interesting thing, dunno whether you guys noticed both Chan and i are from indonesia, we share about malaysia in singapore. Haha i find it very amusing :)

Below was other thing that i want to add on lar... Its great to go on mission trip like this, not only will we be helping Seramban and the people by bringing goodnews to them but God will in turn help us grow in our faith, courage and boldness.

Personally this is my first mission trip and I was quite insecure and timid about going there to evangelize but after the video that was shown two midweeks ago it changed my whole attitude towards this mission trip. As I saw how the two Malaysians sisters shares about how excited they were that we are sending disciples to evangelize their town and seeing her tears and her need for God, it challenged me to really go there with the right attitude, that my fear is nothing compared to the good news that can save their lives.

On the first day we went to Jaya Jusco, one of the biggest mall in Seramban. As Friday was a working day for the Malaysian, the mall was pretty deserted. Three of us manage to get five contacts. The second day was great as we started the day with devotional and many shared inspiring quiet time. With lots of prayer we went back to Jaya Jusco.

There were amazing thing that happens that lifted my faith personally. I believe that God really use people to lead us to the right people. The first day after reaching out to 3 women and getting no numbers we were kind of discourage and thinking maybe it’s the way we share our faith not so convincing.

Later on we saw a guy in his late teens so I thought lets just give it a try. Found out that his three sisters were all Christians and he is open to study more about God, so he gave his number as well as email address.

We introduce him to one of our brother which in turn asked us to reach out to another lady in pink that was around the corner, so with that we reached out to her, found out she was waiting for her friend. Though we didn’t get her number but her friend was open to the friendship and give her number.

There was another that was reached out by a sister but she did not give her number. Then we came and approached her, not knowing she was being reached out earlier. Though she was at first not very keen but when we share about our own conversion and asked her more she gave us her number. It was very different from my attitude when I reach out in Singapore, normally I would not ask more, when they are not interested. But the urgency for people to come and listen to the service on that Sunday was the motivator. And the fact that she was reached out before really convict me that God indeed wants her to know more about Him. That’s not the only time we meet her. When we were about to leave the mall the group wanted to get some sweets in the nearby shop. Guess what? She was working there…and when I talked to her another sister came and saw her as well and she said that she reached out to her earlier…God is indeed amazing.

I realized that in order for people to be open is through constant friendship and sharing of our own life, therefore is a need to get numbers so we can call them more often. But of course it takes a lot of discipline as sometime too many contacts but we are not focus it will just be a number.
